Three hours of navigation through an fjord… sound like a lot of time, but it’ll pass in the blink of an eye! After drinking a mug of coffee, you’ll be getting to the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park, where the Serrano and Balmaceda glaciers are. After seeing Balmaceda from the ship, everyone will disembarks for a short trekking on the riverside of a lagoon with some icebergs floating on the surface, and everyone will get there together. A lookout and a boulder are quite close to the glacier.
The boulder is one of the most popular spots to take pictures! Wait patiently for your turn and when it comes, smile! That way you’ll look spectacular with all the blue in the background! You’ll be passing through the vast prairie that is the route that starts from Natales and goes straight to Calafate, Argentina, to get to the Los Glaciares National Park.
